Annual Lowland Rescue AGM and Conference
Working together, sharing experiences and raising awareness of the national role of BCRC with other search and rescue organisations is always an important task for BCRC, and we were delighted to receive an invitation from Lowland Rescue to attend their AGM and Conference on 27 and 28 September 2024 at Cranfield University.
A 75 minute presentation was delivered by BCRC officers, Emma Porter and Mike Clayton, who shared their experiences and involvement as part of the support operation of the Tham Luang Cave Rescue of the Thai football team in 2018. BCRC received a very warm welcome from our Lowland Rescue colleagues from across the country, and the weekend was extremely well-organised, informative and worthwhile.
